I’m Scott Antcliffe, a multi award-winning Derbyshire wedding photographer but happy to travel nationwide and even destination weddings, to capture those special days
YOUR BIG DAY
Your ‘Big Day’ is one of the most important days of your life, which is why I pour my
heart and soul into each and every wedding that I shoot.
I would describe my style as natural/documentary — essentially meaning I’m very
unobtrusive and like to capture those candid, natural moments that spontaneously
occur, rather than forced, unnatural, awkward shots.
You’ll soon come to find I’m very friendly, chatty and approachable and happy to offer
guidance and support along the way.
Prior to being a wedding photographer, I used to be a primary school teacher, so you
even get a free kids entertainer thrown in!
Outside of weddings, I’ve been very fortunate to win awards for my landscape and
travel work with National Geographic and Wanderlust Magazine.
I have also photographed the likes of Madness, Kasabian, Bryan Adams, Newton Faulkner, DMA’s, James, Michael Bublé and many others with my live music photography work too.

Hi, I’m Scott
Forever with a camera in my hand, I’m at my happiest when I’m out with my camera.
Whether that’s out in the Peak District photographing a sunrise or hid under a
camouflage net for hours waiting to photograph foxes in the middle of a wood at 10pm. As you’ll see from my portfolio, I’m just passionate about taking photographs.
I have been fortunate enough to photograph a wide variety of genres, taking skills
from all of these to hone my craft as a wedding photographer.
My main priority whilst I’m photographing weddings is to capture the day as it unfolds
naturally.
There is so much pure emotion, love and beauty on a wedding day and I like to capture this, rather than interfering with the natural flow. I love to tell a story in pictures, the real personality and character of the day.
It’s often commented on by the couple and guests how I effortlessly make the wedding guests feel at ease and comfortable around me — this results in the most authentic, genuine photos that truly capture the day.
